I wonder what engine housings they used to make this four rotor? For some reason, I doubt it was the Renesis.

It is based off of the '09 body style so they really can't help that much.

But the 4 rotary sounds so beastly on the track.

 

Holy crap, I didn't even notice it was on the 09 body style. I was too busy looking at the engine bay

saw this car in person, one of only 3 Rx-8's at SEMA this year and it was frickin' sweet. Most impressive thing about me was how new the car was, first I noticed the 4 rotor, then I saw it was an 09, pretty awesome overall considering what its built for.

 

^I agree. Built to race and that's it. My guess is Mazda had a big part of this build and might have even supplied the car, hence the newer model.

yup I certainly am, fixing to redo it with some custom made goodies. So maybe I should get a sticker on my window that says "world's only liquid cooled car audio system" huh?
