The back seat itself, however, is quite small and is best relegated to kids, pets or your briefcase.
I get really annoyed by so-called "tests" where the author obviously never even tried to sit in the back seat! Adults fit fine in the back seat as long as the front seat occupants are not giants (ie average sized, say under 6'0"). Everyone who has sat and travelled in the back of our RX-8 is amazed at how much room there really is!
(I left them a detailed comment along the above lines)
