A bargain. ...I have too much time
Wow, but I thought the Enzo was 1.5 Million $... I could be wrong...I'm not going to bother looking it up.

Not true. I'm also a rather big guy (1.86m and 100Kg, all muscles babeeeeeeee ), and a 1.80m person can sit behind rather comfortably. You're not giving proper props to the 8

As for the brakes, I agree with Razz too. SS lines, .5 fluids, and 0-400degrees pads is all we need, even for hot track days....

the enzo was only ~$500,000, BUT you had to be invitied to buy it. people just bought and resold for profit and the asking price was north of a mill..

No. 1 reason of people swapping brakes is the noise not the performance.

if you are 6ftor so whether or not some one can fit behind you or your head hits the moonroof when you have a helmet on depends if you are long legs or long trunk.

That would be a stupid reason. If you are tired of brake squeel, either get the "upgraded" mazda pads, or buy some aftermarket ones. It'll cost you $50. Or you can take the big brake "upgrade" for $2000 and likely get worse braking times.

Sig images are a MAX of 20K. Read the forum rules in the FAQ section.

That's a real shame, Dominion. I miss your video sigs.

Stopping Short
By SHAUN BAILEY

In its tests of new cars, Road & Track magazine routinely measures stopping distances from 60 miles an hour. The following lists include the best and worst results reported within the last four years in the magazine's Road Test Summary. All of the cars had antilock braking systems.
Do you have a link for either the NY Times article or the Road and Track article? I can't find either on the web, and I'd like to send the article to a few friends of mine.

there is no R&T article, they are using the car reviews and basing it off of that.

But a '69 Lincoln stops better than an RX-8...

Grandma is only 5'5"1/2, but if you ask her, she will say "I'm six four, but I'm very short for my size" She just added custom plates to the car - silver palm trees with an inscription "Team Grannies", on the front and "Cruising" on the back

I've improved my braking performance even more, I'm sure of it. My mod is realitively easy but I think I have to do a third coat of caliper paint on the left brakes because my car pulls to the right when I brake hard.

I used Rustoleum BBQ paint, I swear by the stuff! 60-0 distances have improved significantly.
