The Renesis 1.3 rotary engine has now chalked up another major award, after winning the International Engine of the Year already - it's been named to the prestigious Ward's 10 Best Engines of 2004 list. Read the CanadianDriver article here.

I note that only three are U.S.-designed and -built engines....

 

so what place did we get?

 

Um, that was the point - we didn't get placed. It's the 10 Best list - just like Car and Driver's 10 Best cars, they list the 10 Best. The Renesis is one of the 10 Best - there are no rankings of first through tenth within that list. Within the group of 10, they're equal.

Now, among ourselves, we all KNOW that the Renesis is the best of the 10...
