Interesting. The known weakness with the clutch bracket is being investigated. Wonder if all these cases were documented from this site.

That's good news! It's not like it's something that is common to break, so nobody really expected it to happen.....Hopefully something can get worked out.

This should be a recall. The thought of the clutch pedal breaking while driving is scary.

How would this affect people who have already paid out of pocket for a broken clutch pedal replacement? Would we get reimbursed by Mazda?

Yes, If Mazda made it a recall who ever replaced there broken clutch pedal would get reimbursed by Mazda if you saved the receipt.
