New MS vehicle annoucment? Anyone?
When you buy a car that already has forced induction, it's relatively cheap to make it noticably faster. Simple things do that such as a free flow exhaust, a boost controller, and some tuning. These are things that are very easy to do to the vehicle without tearing the car apart and it makes it much easier when trying to take the car in for service or get inspected. This would be something that people in California and other states that follow their naziesque way of thinking when it comes to emissions could do to have a faster car but not worry about inspection. You could also do it with a warranty. It's true that the aftermarket is going to be able to provide you with a car that can ultimately be faster but many people would like a car that is mostly stock that is faster. That's been a big complaint and it would be a welcome addition to their line. It won't matter to some people but it will to others.

For most of us its more of a thing of "Where is the love!?" that and when you think of it Mazda not (eventually) doing a MS8 would be akin to I dunno Dodge never doing the SRT-10 with the Viper.
Imagine if Dodge brought out their SRT line and did every other car in their line up as SRT from the small eco-car to the sedan and station wagon but not their top sports car. How do you think Viper owners would feel. Sure they know they have a great car but wouldnt they feel a bit left out.
Just a thought that popped in my head I know some will tear it apart but its the only brand I could think of that has a good running sports tuned package running.

I'd instantly dash to the dealer if an AWD RX8 with forced induction was announced since I'm looking at an AWD for my current cars replacement because I need something that works better in the snow...
