HAHA you guys arent going to believe this. and its shocking to me as well. i just got a call from a guy i know very well whos in the industry, who asked me specifically to be in the fast and furious and if i wanted to be in it cause they needed RX8's. i was like "HECK YEA!" so he said alright done. we'll go in wednesday for the paper work and the shoot will be on thursday and friday. plus i will be getting paid for the time i will be being there. from what i heard its $250.00 per day so for two days i will be getting paid. i don't know anything about where my car will be placed or which scene or anything like that. but when i do i will be getting back and updating you guys on it! ahhah so make sure to look for my car! hahahaha. RX8's represent!

Not to rain on your parade, but it seems a very late in production to be doing this. The trailers are already out; the movie is set for this summer. Seems like it's a very very last minute rush edit to get certain cars in the movie. Maybe Mazda paid some advertising money and demanded that the 8 be featured more. There's already a crazy looking yellow metallic RX-7 with a black roof that seems to have some key race scenes.

 

the trailers are only some scenes. the finished background shoots from the casting calls are for this thurs and friday.

 

do you know where production / filming is going to be, not that i will be able to make it but someone out there might be able to swing by and take a look. (TAKE PICTURES!)
