I think the car is called the "Renegade RX8"

I believe you can go to autozone or a similar store and then have a sort of spray-on canister that will darken your taillights or headlights if you want. Forgot what its called though. (I think it starts with "night")

But would it affect the function of the brakelights, turn signals, etc?

yea, i thought it was called nightshade. A friend of mine bought some, but i didnt actually see him install it. He said it works great. I'm not to sure how legal it is though, because it does kind of cover your signals. Check the legality first, then go ahead and spray

So the fact that it's sitting on display doesn't say much for the continued reliability testing of the car.....

Please Lord, i've been good... bring out the Mazdaspeed RX8 :p

looks are completely subjective, personally I think the car looks great although I'd like to see it in different colors

The hood scoop is actually functional, amazing concept I know given all the fake ones on the market

I'd pay money for the front bumper, and side skirts. skip the bonnet wing and rear bumper

I'd agree with you except to say that the stuff on this car is functional, not to mention they took the time and effort to mold the pieces of the kit in, I really think it's pretty amazing looking, I guess you've been soured by all the fast and furious crap we all get inundated with on an everyday basis :D it's all good, if you don't like it that's cool, but if you really thnk about it, it could have turned out a lot worse.

It's interesting that it has clear corners for a USDM car...

Nowadays the marketing departments of all these companies force you to take all the retarded, tacky bodykit add-ons with the sporty models...I hate them...For example, I love the Tacoma Xrunner package...nice truck, but man, the stupid hood scoop and huge bodykit is disgusting...take that crap off, and give me rear disc brakes with the money saved on the Fast and the Furious bullsh**. I am hoping for a Mazdaspeed hi-po RX8 but I'll never get one if it comes with that hideous bodykit.....might wait and buy a wrecked one and put the go fast stuff in my plane jane car......

The fast stuff is a supercharger and a new fuel map. I doubt they mess with the tranny or the final drive... Maybe an upgraded LSD would be nice though...
