Summary: Nothing to see here. Poor, not even pipe dream, design with tires that look like they would shatter on the first pothole.

Nothing to do with Mazda or the Rx series cars aside from the finching the name.

Also the designer needs to learn how to make front ends that don't look stupid.

It "promises" possible performance increases but man is it ugly.

edit: couldn't get image links to show anything, you'll have to follow the link if you care to look.
These look damn interesting and could have a lot of potential. Though somehow I think it would end up heavier then the current hub / air tube design.

OP, you might want to make a note at the top so people don't get confused and think stupid thoughts.

There is no mention of a 78-81 RX-9 anywhere. Even Mazda doesn't have it listed anywhere. Why is that?

Would hate to put my life in the hands of computerized tires. On a mountainbike though not a bad idea.

ha! That gives me a good (?) idea...take a car and put a fake badge on it, such as RX-9. Then when you drive around, people will think, "wow - look, an RX-9! So that's what they look like!"
Although in reality the only person that would probably amuse is myself.

You just have to know where to look. Then you will find what you seek..............

Caught me off guard too. I've seen that body as a 929 in Trinidad where I'm from and knew that there were Rotary versions but never knew they were using the name RX-9. There was the Luce name and there was a gorgeous coupe 929 that had a rotary version also; maybe we can get some pics of that.

Paul.
