Mazda Japan - new interior trim

Looking on mazda.co.jp it seems, and i could be mistaken as this is a work computer, that they came out with the following:

burl wood interior trim pieces.

some sort of carrier bag that goes from trunk through passthrough between seats.

Color keyed window vents

new chrome recessed gas door

tire chain kit

4 point front strut bar

mazdaspeed roll cage

just an FYI

I dig the start button. The faux carbon fiber and marble plastic trim pieces are hideous.

I too love the start button... but so freaking expensive for a button.

Hopefully when they made it standard for MY 2009 it still be the same rotary style (instead of the ones seen on '09 Mazda 6) only without such a big price tag.

+1. Harddrive? Antenna/receiver?

The carbon fiber is ok but the "marble" is disgusting. Some aluminum (not chrome/polish, the type that looks dull and non reflective) trim would be nice. The start button is cool too.

None of that stuff is new, been on the Mazda Japan site for some time. You can get the OEM blue fogs for $30 on eBay. One thing that I noticed on the Mazda site is that the MS-01S wheels are available in 18" and 19"! Why don't we get 19" here?

Something to "Stiffen the chassis". Seems like a rip off though.

That brochure is dated Sept 07 and believe me there have been hardly any changes from the 2004 brochure (Japanese spec)

Someone translate page 17-18 for the utility item (or page 15 if you are counting the pdf pages)

They have a rear back up camera, but still no blue tooth. Items we need include blue tooth capability along with HD radio.
