How is it new, other than the line up of cars at the bottom?

 

I wonder how they make the other cars goes to a background colour when the mouse hoverover the RX-8 and when the mouse it outside that rectangle then all the car are in a brighter colour... if you know what I mean...

I know how to make the car sparkle before showing it - just by using a movie clip in the button but wonder how to control the other buttons...

It prob will be answer with a complex action script right>?

I'd say just Jscript using Opacity (SP?).... i've used it a few times.. this is just a bit cooler.

 

can anyone tell me the link for the official rx-8 website?
It had flash/html and had alot of info, it was solely for the rx-8, and had a link to do stuff to the X-men rx-8....can't find it anywhere...did it slowly die?

 

No need for javascript - you can do it with a mouseover event (either a simple rollover or hotspot) and/or with a combination of animated gifs. I can't log on to the Mazda site right now because the site seems to be down, but I'm sure it can be done this way.

 

Its not brand new, but it did change a bit, much better.
