Just in 1400hp Twin Turbo RX-8

Read this article from Automobile magazine Sep 04, looks like Mazda will be at NHRA Drag Racing this October with a Twin Turbo 1400hp RX-8. To bad this won't be street legal

Some other Mazda cars: 400hp Mazda 3, and a turbocharged 1200hp Mazda6.

I believe turbochargers are banned in the big time NHRA. For sport compacts, anything goes.

i got him to laugh by telling him the size of the turbo is the size of my engine.

I got to see that car run a few months ago at English Town. Something about it that was interesting where the headlights. They where the real RX-8 lights, not decals.

No it isn't. Quickest, but not fastest. 201.52 MPH by Archie Kajewski and the Mazfix team's tripple turbo 20B here in Australia just a few weeks ago. And who was the tuner? The same guru I am developing the twin-screw with

pepe loco flipped the car mid way down the 1320.
