Good article over all, will say you can defiantly tell who still has passion for the RX8 in the article though.
For those who have not read here is a link to the free issue online.

poppycock, somebody comes on here and talks it up for a year or so and this forum sucks it up with a straw like it's liquid candy from heaven ... the reality is that people a lot smarter and more rotary engine experienced than either you or me build OMP-less Renesis engines on a regular basis.

Team,
people a lot smarter and more rotary engine experienced than either you or me also proved that the renesis will still break the side seals on premix alone.
I'll go dig up some evidence to back up my statement. I suppose it's too much to hope for that you would produce evidence to back up yours?
One example: RX8Club.com - View Single Post - Possible New Renesis Engine Failure Theory?
And further clarification from him: https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...&postcount=248
I suppose this is who you are referring to with "somebody". However, there is also no reason to believe that he is either lying or grossly misrepresenting the facts. I suppose to believe you have information to the contrary. I did some digging and don't see anything so far to support your statements. Nothing about the engine dynamics, nothing from proven Renesis rebuilders, nothing from race teams that have gone through many engines (more than just Eric Meyer). In fact, the extent of what I have found has been from RX-7 engines being able to delete the OMP, or unsupported comments like the one in the above linked article from people that are not nearly as experienced with the Renesis as they are with the RX-7, which tends to cloud their opinion.
If you want to change what people believe then provide something to believe along with evidence to support it. You have NUMEROUS times in the past insisted that people believing something without evidence was a horrible thing to do, but are frequently guilty of trying to get someone to believe something without providing evidence. Which is it going to be?
If you want to share it, fine, share it.
If you don't want to share it, fine, don't share it ... but don't bother posting about the topic at all in that case.

the Renesis failure theory thread is one of the greatest comedy acts on this forum
Do I need to care about giving you proof? Would you even believe it coming from me?
Here's a starter hint though. There's no OMP on the Mazda Star Pro Formula cars.
Guess you have a homework lesson now, better get cracking ...

I haven't been able to find anything to confirm or deny it. Oil injector parts show up in parts listings for the Star Mazda, but no mention of a deletion or inclusion is mentioned anywhere else.
I clearly can't take your word for it, since that would be contrary to your own points of wisdom.
However, even if I assume that your statement is accurate... you are still talking about customized engines unavailable to the regular public built for 1 single environment with high rebuild frequency in a chassis with superior mechanical and thermal management with an ECU that doesn't come stock in the RX-8.
Where does that belong in a general public article for basic points to know about buying an RX-8? It doesn't.
If you want to try to convince anyone otherwise, feel free to continue.
If you don't care about convincing anyone otherwise, then stop posting.
