Going to see X2 Tonight
Woo-Hoo! Going to see the RX-8 in X2 tonight. A guy I work with's dad owns a local theatre and is doing a preview for friends and family a day before the general release.:D :D :D

I saw X2 last night at 12:01am. The 8 looks sweet in action and it sounded great :D It all went by way too fast though. I guess I'll have to go see it again. It was actually like a little 30 second ad for the RX-8. They had some really great shots of the car. And people in the theatre really seemed to be digging it.

I liked the fact that they didn't have the car do anything unrealistic. Nothing looked obviously faked. Also, they threw in a nice shot of the rear where you could clearly read the badging but again didn't overdo it by staying on the shot too long.

How could you tell? Were there squeals of delight
There was a lot of "Oh damn, that car is tight", "sweet ride" , "sick", etc. going on. Which I translated to they seemed to like it

yea, i just saw it too. the RX8 sounded sooooo sweeet. real deep. wonder will the production car sound like that. looked a lot better in the movie than it does in pictures. good movie too, btw

It sounded really nice. I hope they will sound like that. A few people behind man kept asking their friends what car was that. I heard anothe say "ooooohhh $hit thats the new RX-7"
