The car was in the UK for the Goodwood Festival of Speed. I assume they just stuck it on Top Gear since it was there.

As for the engine, not only is it a "20B" but it's built the same way most of them are.. with 13B housings.

Somebody on the RX7 club was at Goodwood and got some nice up-close pictures of the car.

LMAO the apollo front really resembles the rx8 , it looks like a rx8 with wide body fenders. I had no idea that the 3 rotor gets such bad gas mileage. Too bad they didnt drive it

Erm, it's not a regular 20B, the gas mileage is obviously due to it being a race engine, besides it runs on E100 which uses more than you would with normal gas.

i remember reading about this in the top gear mag, as it had the stig standing beside the furai on the front cover.

i also read about him driving it and seen a pic of the stig in the car???
so it sounds strange when they say they did not get driving it etc, as i remember them saying by the time they got in etc the car was well warmed up and took off like a rocket sorta stuff. i did read it quickly in the newsagents though, but did see photos they took.

The Furai was in Top Gear mag a couple months back, but it was just studio photos and the writer was commenting about its style.
