umm, has anyone commented on the side mirrors? i'm surprised they didn't change them at all, or add a blinker (which is very mainstream right now)

^very true!!

too bad on the tails, although seeing them side-by-side makes me like our version better.

yeah, that new ms looks the best.

anyone notice the difference in the tails between the rs and the ms? the new ms look darker. and using clears instead of the yellow blinker bulb. the taillights on the ms i'd buy in a second, and something about them looks head and shoulders better than the rs version.....

Charlie, can you explain the moving red tacho to this silly old bastard...

Does the red-line mark in the Tacho Guage move to a higher RPM level as your engine warms up, so a cold engine a much lower Red RPM peak of say 3800 RPM?, is that the point guys.?

I must say the more I look at the new face lift the more I like it, when you think of it it is VERY hard to change an already unique looking car to one that has changed enough to satisfy the market and not ruin the appearance..
As I said earlier, in the flesh WE will be very happy with the new look.

Like the new LED Tail lamps, the twin round lamps have the appearance of the early RX's...like the R100 and RX-2 and even 10A RX-3.
Will look great at night too!

The only thing I HATE is the Steering wheel...WHY CHANGE THE DESIGN MAZDA!

I like it overall. However, I expected more change. Well, let's just hope there's more horsepower.

yes under the numbers is a lighted red band that is longer when its cold and shortens toward the high rpm mark as the car warms

see the difference in the rs dash vs the ms dash

we already have a pcm controlled redline while the car is cold - now there will be a visual indicator of it and i believe from a conversation that it is more strict.

do you know if that could be put on our 8's? obviously we would need the whole unit, but with regard to that whole piece, is it just wiring or is there something else that would make it impossible to switch out?

Does anyone know if the prices have been released, or a rough estimate of the prices for these new styles?

i've never looked into this on other cars, but does having an in-dash Nav (w/ multipurpose LCD touchscreen) makes hax0ring the software easier or harder??

I don't like the looks of navagation in most cars, Big'Ol Square box.

Ugly.

Reminds me when TV's first came out.

The current with pop up display is much better.

Hell, I just think its a waste having one. No real use.

I always know where I'm going.

when people get this they can black out the chrome led light htings, that way it would be black and look sick as f%ck but then you can still see the LEDs!!!
