If they build that, I would HAVE TO check it out before going to GM for the Camaro!
LOL

Mazda would be DUMB...to ignore such a great looking car. It looks like an exotic for the everyday man. I think anyone would drop 50K for this sexy car easy, while I wouldn't I just mean it looks that good if not better.
Mazda, take a look at GM (NOT FORD...aka Mustang) who is dead on from the concept Camaro and follow suit.
But I know, this is probably not official work but I just hope Mazda pays attention!

It really looks good, i like the fender flares similar to the 8, although i think the wheels on this persons render may be just a little to big. Yet somehow at the same time it fits with what the did.
i think it looks sick, that rear quarter panel is very nice...and it kinda looks like a doable desogn that could possibly make it past the bean counters...the front looks to exagurated to me but it works for the rest of the car...id agree that this looks like an everyday exotic...follow suit with a great engine and minimize weight and it could be a world class car for a working class driver.....hey that is a nice lil slogan lol

Aman brother. I was starting to lean more towards the next Z. But if we get something like this, I will have my people get a cashier check and courier it to the nearest Mazda dealer.
HAWT, almost hawter than my wife. J/K

Wow, nice work...but I wonder if Mazda has the nuts for such a car! In the least, this should be the next RX-7 (while killing me off since I need back seats, at least the legend will live once again)

It has similar style to some other concepts but until it's official it's all speculation as we all forum members know. Rightttttt.....

There is another thread/chat here, so feel free to ignore this one so I don't step on anyone's toe's here.
We know the over size rims/tires won't make it, the design of the wheels will make it but in a smaller diameter, my guess 18" possibly 19"inchers ...its what most cars are sporting these days. We know the production car will not be sitting that low and that the aero package will be toned down.... but if Mazda could keep close to that body design.....I will be in that dealership day 1 it comes out ready to buy it.
I have my eye on the new Camaro, a used Z-06 , or even a Cayman S as my next runner ups as a new ride. keeping the 8, but after seeing this possibly new Rx, those other rides may be a after thought if this concept becomes a production based vehicle.

^True, it sure makes you think about that next car. I love the new Camaro and GM is making it look almost exactly like the concept but if they built that red beauty I'd at least have to consider it (if it has back seats).
I'd also love to keep the 8, but I think I'd need the money for the new car when that time comes in about 3-4 years.
It's funny, I've owned her for 3 years and I still have not broken 20K...lol.

Nice, but to get anything remotely close to those proportions in real life, they would have to have an utterly tiny car, shrunken down around 20" wheels or something, in order to keep the exaggerated flared fender look.
Personally I'd like to see Mazda draw a line in the sand, with regards to wheel size and the car's weight. Like, 17's and 2600 lbs. And style the car so it looks good with the 17's. You can put 17's on an 8, yes; but they look goofy. 17" tires are a fair bit cheaper too, it seems like tire prices start going up exponentially once you get past 17's.
