[JAP] Defi demo car RX-8

I saw it on the cover of REVspeed magazine this month and make me to find this link. I am not sure if there is an equiv link in English but there you go.

http://www.nippon-seiki.co.jp/defi/i...i_car/rx8.html

It gave me a fit when I saw what engine oil they are using BP!!!

Also they have VOLKS CE28N in an offset of +34. They said it is specially made - is that right?

I am not 100% on this one, but, I think BP and Castrol oils are the same product...ie. British Petroleum own/control Castrol. Read it somewhere.

So if you are using the "Mazda Rotary Oil" in Australia you are using Castrol...or BP

BTW. What is wrong with BP oils?

It is surprising that the Japanese are using something from Britian that is all. There are too many oil to choose from in Japan.

On the other end, they treated Red line oil as gold. So I think they like it just because it is from overseas.

Other thing: Do they have 102 Octane petrol now?

Perhaps they have some sort of oil sponsorship deal with BP?

Did you see last night on the news that (I think it was Shell) are now offering
ULP fuel with 10% Ethanol Blend, they are claiming 100 Octane.
Petrol Stations are using their spare (LRP) Bowser nozzle for Ethanol, here in SA LRP is Finally discontinued. Don't now about the east coast.
ALL our Fuel here is shipped direct from Singapore as Mobil closed our refinery a few years ago!
