Your 8's battle scars

It seems like everytime I wash my car I find another minor scratch or something. I try not to let it bother me, but to no avail. The previous owner of this car backed into something, putting two dents in the black plastic rear diffusor. If it wasn't perfectly symmetrical, I probably would have had it fixed a while ago. Also, I've managed to give my rims some good road rash because of my shitty parking. I was just wondering what kind of damage everyone else is looking at, besides the inevitable paint chips on the hood and front bumper from flying road debris.

I find a few chips or scratches here and there whenever I was mine as well.... its depressing, but hey, its still just a car. The chips at least show that its being driven, as it should be

In all these years I have only two dents and they both bug the **** out of me. This month I'm getting my whole front bumper resprayed and both dents fixed and I can't wait.

door dings from previous owner. very small and not too bad. but then one time at the highway, a big chunk of blown tires debris was flung to my bumper from the lane on my left side. pretty bad scratches on my front left bumper now T_T but i just console myself thinking at least it wasn't a big dent on the fender or side of my car.

I wax the car about once a month. I didn't think it was very effective at hiding/filling scratches, but it sure shines. I know it's just a car, so I try to "Fuggedaboudit", but this is my first nice car. I'm also concerned about my parking abilities. I told myself that I'd be getting new wheels in the future, but I'd be bummin' big time if I dropped decent money on them only to scuff them up afterwards.

Had a dad punch my side mirror in once, almost breaking it. All because I went around the cul-de-sac goin 25 mph and the tires cut loose a little. It was a long and funny story that would take too many words to recapture.

Besides the normal chips, I have a ding in the drivers side rear door and the
worst part about it is it's right in the line the runs across the side of the car.
So noticable.....oh and some scratches on my passenger side front fender from my brothers cat.

I dont get how some people are able to use the Mazda touch up paint (VR at least). It is pretty much the same as kool-aid.

I have two bottles of VR Mazda touch up. I hate it. WHen I need to use touch up, I'll go to my body shop and have them mix me a baby food bottle of VR for me.
