Yipee!
After some research here and some deep thought..I bought an RX-8! I got a new 2004 in Blue w/ GT Package, Navigation, 6 speed, Appearance Packege, 6 Disc Changer, and Rotary Accent package for a ludicrously low price. Man it pays to know people...I cant wait to pick my car up on Friday!

Mine was $31,000 for a base 6MT, with navi, GT, and MS Spoiler dealer installed. I later added mp3 ($200), rotary accents ($60), and other stuff. You can install these things far cheaper than the dealership will.
Also, get rid of the sunroof deflector, the sunroof has one built in. If you wait till later, your paint may be too messed up to remove.

the guy has the appearance package so it evens things out a bit...
