Wow, I can't believe how good this car is!

I've owned a Saab 96, VW Rabbit, Honda Accord, Fiat X1/9, three Mazda Miatas and a VW GTI. And after over 30 years of driving I can honestly say I've never had a car as fine as this one.

Agile, light on its feet, an oh-so-smooth rotary engine that loves you the harder you push it, cool, clever suicide doors for easy access, fires up strong first time/every time in hot weather or cold, great on snow with its winter tires—and as reliable as the toaster on my kitchen counter.

Does it get any better than this?

I haven't seen anyone claiming previous ownership of a X1/9 for a long time...

RX8 is a great car and I still enjoy getting behind the wheel.

When I posted this (in a thread that won't be named): "In fact, most of the "trouble free" owners have to post ***** like hell to make sure people realize there ARE trouble free rx-8s. Because, contrary to your warped opinion, the internet is flooded with people who bitch like hell while those with no problems don't post "everything is fine" threads on a daily basis."

How did I know it would be New Yorker to make the thread?

But it took almost 2 days. You're getting slow, bro.

That's the way it is, so nice to see people posting about trouble free rx8s. Yeah, ok, so I had a problematic rx8 in 2004 like many, but that's how it is. It's not the most reliable car around, but not every rx8 is gonna end up being unreliable. With every car, there's always gonna be a percentage of long term durable ones. Nice to see!!! If I had the car new yorker had, I'd still own it.

I hate how life does that to you though. Hit or miss.

Six months of love and still going strong. Just wish it had a little more urgency under the hood when I am really getting on it, but overall very satisfied.

I agree with everything except for the "easy access" on the rear doors. I dropped off my friend at his apartment and double parked to let him and his girlfriend out of the car. I didn't quite realize that you need to park a mile away from the side of another car or the 2 doors create a pincer of death from which there is no escape.

The only problem I have with the car is limited access to making a grilled cheese in the car. Not enough space IMO

After purchasing the 8, I realized all the negative feedbacks that some people left were over-hyped. I have not had a problem with my car. It's agile and totally fun-to-drive.

I don't understand the complaints about the car's performance to be frank.

This message is Jedi Approved. The Force is strong in this one...

2 years of ownership and I still get excited every time I fire it up in the morning.
