"wood" over my RX-8!
Well I finally did it. On Oct 16th I bought my 2005 RX-8(brilliant black cc w/gold accents). and I couldn't be more happier with my decision. From everthing from styling to handling to overall performance. I get" wood" sometimes just talking about it. I started reading threads on RX-8 Club about a year ago and at some points I started to have my doubts but once I got inside and took it for a drive-I WAS IN LOVE! So far I haven't experienced any of the issues discussed, but as an avid RX-8 fan I'll be sure to stay informed. I must say that many of you guys in here helped out immensly with technical questions and by answering some of my concerns. MUCH THANKS TO ALL!

The Mazda emblems on the front and rear have a faux gold plating on them. the center Mazda emblem on the center of the rims are gold also. The dealer added an additional $500.00 to the price of the car,but I was able to negotiate it as freebie. I'll have pics soon! The brilliant black clearcoat and the gold look awesome together. I live in Orlando and haven't seen another one like it yet.

I'm in Orlando also, I guess I'll see you out there sooner or later...CONGRATS!!!
Hopefully soon I'll be enjoying a RX8 too, probably not new but hopefully by December...
