winter driving

I bought an 2005 RX-8 last summer, but stored it in the garage all last winter. This year I would like to drive it all year, but since I live in the NE, I'm wondering if this is an unrealistic possibility. If anyone has any recommendations for driving in the snow, please fill me in on what to expect.

Jsut get a good set of snow tires and you're golden. I've got Blizzack LM-22's, and they are awesome in the snow
