The first thing to remember about Mazda paint codes is that the paint code on the door jamb is usually not the same as the touch up paint code...The paint code on the door jamb is what Body Shops and such use to order paint from paint vendors or to obtain the paint formula to mix the paint themselves.
Anyway, the following is a list of the body paint codes from the door jam and the corresponding touch up paint codes.
Name Body paint code Touch up paint code
Brilliant Black A3F PZ
Lightning Yellow A4J 93
Nordic Green 27C 97
Sunlight Silver 22V 68
Titanium Gray 29Y 66
Velocity Red 27A 87
Winning Blue 27B 94

If you have to have some body work done, and you own a vel. red or nordic green mica, won't it be difficult for a body shop to reproduce that color accurately...since it has mica flakes in it? That's one reason why I am skeptical of getting one of those colors.
