Since you have the panel off are you able to tell it the motor works, issue with the switch or is the window off the track?

Any idea why your switches are failing?

Are they getting moisture, or are they melting from over-voltage?

I haven't heard of the bypass switch failing before. Have you tried to take the switch(es) out and clean with some contact cleaner?

If the same part keeps failing something else may be going on. There is only so much that can fail on a switch.

I do not know how that back of the window switch looks but it can't be too far off from a standard light switch. Find the two contacts on the switch and connect them with a small section of wire or a screw. You would be replicating the same thing depressing the switch would do, completing the circuit.

@ Zoom44 post oh man.

My passanger side windo just went down one day and never came back up. I could hear the motor but the window would just rock up and down. As if it wanted to go up but something was stopping it. It was going out. I guess over time and all he sand out here in Vegas got all over the grees that was on the rail preventing it from rolling up and down smoth.
So one hot summer day i rolled the windows down and heard my passanger window fall. Took the door panel off and went to the dealer with everything wraped up in my trunk. They replaced it under warrenty and told me this is the 3rd on they seen that month.
Turns out it was not the motor but the plastic that holds the window on the rail broke and thats why the window fell out of place.
