Will you buy the parts they changed on the RX8?

So if the new front and rear bumpers fit, are you going to buy them to make your car look like the new one? Maybe even the new front fenders?

They don't fit. It was already shown they line up differently with the fenders.

They are also uglier then the current car so this is an un issue for me.

No, I'm holding out till they release the 2010 pontiac aztec. I'll then retrofit my rx-8 to look like *** that way instead of the 2009 rx-8.

Might as well delete this thread since no parts will fit the current model.

So would anyone go through the trouble to do the chopping to make any new parts fit?

Why would you waste so much money to look like everyone else and not even improve performance?

apart from it being LED tailights, the design is quite bland compared to the mkI rx8.

Both front & rear lights of our RX8 are so much better than the new ones. Same goes with the bumpers. What a relief!

The bar would be nice but the center connection dose not exist on the present model, you could fabricate it but we don't know what kind of additional strengthening Mazda has done in this area with the new model.

I'd love to see how the current RX8's prices will drop when the "new" one comes out.

I want to see how the current RX-8's aftermarket parts cost drops, if at all. Might be a fine time to get a mazdaspeed kit. If someone released a kit to make our foglights look similar to the new design, I might be interested. Otherwise, no.
