Will the HP issue kill Mazdaspeed RX-8?
On the evidence it seems that the real HP is still way below the revised 238 figure.
Unless Mazdaspeed comes up with something truly spectacular it's true HP rating wouldn't be much different from 238.
If they state HP accurately they will have hard time selling the Mazdaspeed version that has no extra ponies. If they overstate it they will be opening themselves up for another scandal.
Thoughts?

With the current fuel economy and emissions of the RX8, a MUCH more powerful version will have to be produced in VERY limited numbers. Of course, if a major innovation those areas come out then maybe it'll be different.
