Why drive it like you stole it?

Is it actually better for the car to drive it hard? Im going to be the first to baby mine :D No going over 4000 rpm lol jk

It's actually important to rev it to high RPMs every so often. If you dont you will experience something similar to carbon lock.

Good luck with your new engine(s)


You want to redline at least once a day. Clears out the carbon build-up.

If you want to go the extra mile and really make the engine last you need to redline through all gears at least twice a week.

Seriously, don't by an RX8 if you aren't going to rev it up. It's not much of an engine below 4K but it's a blast over 5K!

My favorite part of the warm up process is the prize at the end. 9kRPMs is a blast.
