because engine replacements suck

 

It's actually important to rev it to high RPMs every so often. If you dont you will experience something similar to carbon lock.

 

also the mazda fairy will beat you senseless for buying this car and driving it like a mustang

 

High RPM's blow the carbon out of the engine

rev it up, it's more fun

You want to redline at least once a day. Clears out the carbon build-up.

If you want to go the extra mile and really make the engine last you need to redline through all gears at least twice a week.

Seriously, don't by an RX8 if you aren't going to rev it up. It's not much of an engine below 4K but it's a blast over 5K!

 

I was kidding. I plan on driving the **** out of it. :D

 

If it was not for my fuel cutoff, I'd have several new engines by now. I hammer it quite often.
