Just curious how close you guys are to the 50k mark (or how many are already past it).

I've been taking tons of road trips with my second RX-8, so if you combined both the RX-8s I owned, I'd be at around 40,000 miles right about now if I had never swapped the first one.

Wow, you all must do a lot of driving. I've had mine since May 04, and have a little less than 11k.

I should have about 55k, but I have 49.5K right now. I drive A LOT less now that I'm married and my wife lives with me.
Put 46k miles on it in one year

I just turned over 50k this past weekend. Took delivery of my 8 in Oct, 2003. Lots of weekend trips skiing, trips to track days, club runs, and driving for work too.

Stew, quit taking my avatar!!!

What differences would you say you notice from a new one?
Any squeaks, rattles, etc?

Holy cow! That's more than I used to drive in my old Mazda Protege! I put 90K on that thing in 2.23 years.

I'm trying to drive less now, but not fairing too well: averaging 90 miles/day since day of purchase (owned for almost 4 weeks now).

50,000 MILES?! lol no

I bought my car used in may 2005 and it only had 1440 KMs on it. It was purchased from the dealership back in may 2004. So the person that owned it before me basically just let it sit in the garage for a year... he only had 1 vehicle which was strange.. but good for me though.

5 months later, and i've only got it up to 6666 KMs/approx. 4142miles (last night I saw it hit this). I do not want to reach 10,000. I like it low

64K since July 2003.

I've loved every mile of it. This is way better than my Geo Metro 1L 3 speed A/T. The car is great and is doing fine.

60k a/o 9/26/05, since Sept 03. Runs as good as ever. Still can't wait for the next chance to zoom away!

21K miles since Jan 04 and no problems other than bad gas mileage. I've got my Probe back on the road, plus I'll be have my Toyota 4x4 repaired soon for the winter months to help keep miles off the 8 - neither A/C works and I'm not inclined to spend money on A/C repairs when I have a sweet 8 to drive during the summer!
