Yep, I had to wait an extra half hour because they hadn't picked all the blue plastic out of the interior yet when I went to pick it up.

When I picked mind up it had 6km (~3.5 miles) on it. Of that 5 km was me on the test drive, so it had 1 km from trailer duty.

Chris...

0.1... bull ****.

I knew as a fact they drove your car from Hiroshima plant to the dock with is 1.5km

They must have built your car in the ship and row your car to the dealership LOL :D

Mine had 5km

when i got in the car it had 0.1 miles on it...say what you want but that was the reading (on the odomitor and the trip..both a and b had 0.1) :p

of course if it was built on the ship that would explain why i have some fitment issues..all that moving around with the waves and all :p

also i'm sure they don't drive every rx-8 (or any of them) to the ship...what would be the point?

Well, if it's a 1.5 mile drive then what's the point of not driving them to the docks :p

From: Anaheim.. I think.
I had 17 miles on mine...

Most cars are driven from the plant to a staging area on the docks, where they are then driven onto roll on/roll off ships (car carriers). When they get here in the states, they are driven off the ships to a staging area on the docks. From there they are placed in either train cars or truck trailers and hauled off to dealers/brokers nationwide..all very short distances, not sure if it could be 0.1 miles though.

800 miles. They must have done circles on the ship or pulled a "Bueller" on the way over.

From: Saskatoon, SK -- go to Winnipeg then head west
7 km x 5/8 = 4.375 miles. The battery was dead -- not unusual, I gather.
