Its kinda hard to tell from the pix I've seen so far, does anyone know where the handle is for the rear doors? On the yellow(Outer) part or the black(Inner)part looking at the pic on the top right hand corner of this forum...

I believe for the suicide doors to be globally legal, they had to be setup so that the front door must be first opened before the rear door. Hence the rear door open from the inside only after the front door is open as well. It's a large verticle lever running close to the rear door's leading edge. It looks like it needs to be pulled towards the front of the vehicle to open. Looks easy enough to open from the outside, don't know about passengers in the rear though (having to push a lever forward to get out).

Fritzman is right. Look at the Saturn coupes with the 3rd door. You can't open the rear doors without opening the front doors due to the placement of the handle, on the front lip of the rear door.
