I've been contacting a few of the large rental companies with no success. Does anyone know where I can rent an RX8 in Los Angeles or SoCal.

I wish rental companies would allow finding locations by vehicle search.

 

I've never seen an RX-8 rental car in SoCal. Enterprise won't carry it, National certainly won't have them either.

 

There to sweet for just ANYBODY to drive it

 

This was asked a while back. I can't remember the thread. But unless you go to an exotic rental company you will be out of luck renting anything thats not a economy car or automatic.

 

i think theres a place over on PCH, i see a red 8 out on the lot all the time...

 

Enterprise in CUlver CIty used to have one years ago, but someone crashed it. They've never carried it since.

its in newport beach, i dont know the name of the place, its sits right in front of the hoag hospital

 

Yeah I haven't seen one but plenty of bustangs and 350z's and a few s2k's.

Hertz carries 350Zs so I assume they'll eventually carry the 370Z.

 

Mazda doesn't make enough RX-8s for fleet usage.

 

is there anyway to rent an MT car anymore in this area?

 

There are a couple of specialty rental car places but they'll charge you up the bung hole.

Why do you want to rent an RX-8? Why don't you rent a Hertz ZHZ Corvette? I did, it was a blast!

 

Well I think Mazda would be more than happy to make them if fleet purchasers ordered them.
