Whatup fellow 8's
Hey, welcome.
Ihad my car for 3 weeks now.... It's in service for burning shitloads of coolant (on a 15 mile highway cruise at 70mph it uses around a quart) and it's SLOW, even a stock mini cooper AUTOmatic gets like 10 cars on me from a 30mph roll up to 90... mine is a M/T. lol
I think I should make my own thread.... to bash on all of my cars...

Hey Dhaark, hope you've got it sorted. It's not slow, life's fast. I'm sure you're going to enjoy the 8 and get used to whatever lack of speed you think it suffers from. Doesn't make a bit of difference, to me. Looks fast, drives fantastic. Enjoy.
Don't get me wrong... I love the car, it used to be fast. Now it just lost POWER, totally. Previously the mini didn't even stand a chance, now it's way faster.
Before the Rx-8 I had a saab 9-2x. In under 7k miles I had 3 engines... each one of them failed for the same reason: spun main bearing on cyl 1. It resulted in eventually throwing a rod on the 2nd engine while I was doing around 75... After the 3rd engine went bad. My dealership bought the car back and I bought the Rx-8, which is great and I love it.
