I might have to be putting 40 miles a day on my rx8 starting in April

 

Daily driver. little over 20,000 in the first year.

 

mines an 06, got it a month ago with 9800 miles. I just hit 12,000 miles on the drive back home just now. a little over 2000 miles in one month but then again i drove the car an extra 1200 miles on a road trip this month!

 

mine is my DD, right now, i drive to work and back. then to friends or meets on the weekends

anyways, how many miles u gettin per day or averaging per week?

80 miles round trip to work. I now have 108,000 miles on my early build 2004

 

53 miles round trip MWF, about 80 miles on TTh when I have class then work. Overall about 60 miles per day including weekends.

 

14 miles round trip

 

about 65-70 miles a day roundtrip

 

3miles to school, 3 miles back from school, usually another 5-10 miles roundtrip to eat.........

 

26 miles to and from work round trip. some days i put 100 miles or more on her running errands.

 

My round trip is 95km.
Thats what, 60 miles or so??

 

0. I've got a 6 block walk to work.

 

been off for 6 weeks, 5 more to go,,,,,,,, so very few miles.

 

I put about 30 miles a day on minejust hit 53,000!!

 

about 20 miles round trip M-F to work and then bunch of other places on weekends and nights. Just hit 18K yesterday. Had it since sept 06. Been getting consistent 18MPG mixed driving, highway, 20 MPG or so.

 

In 265 days since I bought the car, I've put 4,000 miles on it, or an average of 15 miles per day.

But since it's not my daily driver, that figure is misleading. I usually only drive it on weekends, and with winter here, not at all for about the next 3 months. (Sniff!)

I'm in the Explorer until the spring rains come and wash away the salt and sand from the road.

 

approx 7,800 per year or 150 per week.

 

~65 miles per day. 52 miles both ways for work.

I let me girlfriend drive mine to work during the week (i take her accord). My work is 40 miles round trip, hers is 20. Save 100 miles a week this way as well as gas $.....but i absolutely HATE letting her drive it. I HATE IT! She knows how much i love that car so she knows to be careful. I just hope she doesnt pull a Ferris Buellers Day Off and snap one day w/ jealous rage...

Weekends ave. about 40-50 miles. I rarely take my 8 out of city limits. Im closing in on 50k miles (04 MT).

I'm trying to find a solution.

My options are free rent (saves me about $500-$550 a month) OR put 40-45 miles a day on my car. whats the opinion?

 

Subway to work, so zero commuting miles for me. Mostly just weekend trips on twisty roads in the country.
