Suppose Mazda replaced the automatic transmission they use now with a CVT.

Wonder what that feels like....... Think about it.

 

I have no experiance with CVT, but as long as the driver has the ability to get involved with it, it should be great. From my understainding it will always be in the powerband. I think that I read that the Nissan lets you select a "gear" with paddle shifters. Please someone with some knowledge, shed some light.
