What do you guys think?

Alright, so I have been researching quite abit about RX8's and have been looking for one for myself. Im currently debating whether to do this deal or not, and would appreciate anyones input.

The car is a 2006 GT with 75,000 Km. The car was apparently rear ended and the damages cost $2,200, but has a clean title. Also, the engine was replaced cause of some stalling problems and now has a new one.

The guy is asking $14,000 Canadian. He has all the service and maintenance records also.

So if anyone has any advice on what to watch out for, or if its a good deal, please feel free to hare!

Thanks alot

Where did he have the car serviced?
Call or go to the dealership where any service was done and ask about this car!

It was done at a Mazda dealership. The engine was completely replaced by a new one.

Once a car is hit it just never is the same... I have regretted both of my "minor accident" purchases ... I had both looked at by a dealer prior, and both were Money pits that gave me nothing but headaches.... I would pass...

I got mine about ten weeks ago, it's an '06 GT with 44000Km, brand new tires, no accidents, no mechanical issues whatsoever, the car looks and drives like new. I got it for $15K CAD.

The price for yours seems quite high to me, given the obvious drawbacks (mileage, accident, etc.).

And mine's probably not the hottest deal to be found, although I think I did ok.
