What did you do with your LOW COMPRESSION RENESIS

I was wondering what you guys with rx8s out of warranty did with your RENESIS when it blew/lost compression.

Just wondering if there is anyone who buys low compression renesis or if its better to crack the renesis open and sell its internals individually.

Send it to someone who can rebuild it for you, or do the rebuild yourself.

Why would you want to sell broken engine parts? You could only sell the parts of the engine which are in a very good shape (usable for a rebuild) and to dtermine this u need to clean everything and u need to do a lot of measurements on the parts.

Greetings
Thomas

I left it in my garage and drove another car until i have time to rebuild or money to pay someone to rebuild.

I'd like to find a recently blown engine to rebuild and keep as a ready-to-go spare, personally. Use your blown motor as an opportunity to develop a useful skill. Then again, I basically treat my rotary powered cars as a hobby...
