After about a year of wondering around in the club, I finally got my first RX-8 yesterday

08 MT Sport Galaxy Grey

Unfortunately, not a single dealer in my area have one on their lot so mine will be ship all the way from somewhere in SoCal to the bay area.
That means I'll have to wait six days till this coming Thursday.

SO here is the question, is there any thing I could be doing to prepare?

 

buy zaino now. Get the claybar stuff too.

 

also buy oil and premix....

or just buy oil, and the sohn adapter and 2-stroke

 

Buy some clear corners, sway bars, and new wheels!

 

while you're waiting, get the bhr turbo kit and some window tint.

also purchase about 700 gallons of 93 octane fuel before the prices go up further.

 

Go get some candy from that man in the van. Then go get some cash out of the A.T.M. or make sure you clear up your credit car. You'll need gas money. You'll just want to drive everywhere. Even to the guys house across the street... for no reason. Other than to just drive your new car.

 

What they said... Plus, look into a 3M clear Bra.

where can I find them? where would be the best place to put them on?

One of the things I wish I would have or someone would make is a "NO THANK YOU I DON'T RACE" sign for my car. It's like every second vehicle that goes by. Its either the young little punk or the old man in the SUV. I even had an old guy on a Harley want to race. You'll have to just get used to it.

i recommend an AEM CAI. amazziinnng. and HKS exhaust AMAZINNGGGG.

 

Read up as much Stickies as possible! So by the time your rx-8 arrives, you will not post silly noob questions.

kind of expensive...but I guess it'll be well worth it
anyway...I'll be keeping it stock for awhile, at least before warranty over.
however, I really like HKS Legamax and Hi-power.
I'm still new to RX-8 or even general auto....so hopefully I have read most of it and won't ask noob questions

 

if you're in the bay area you should come to our meets in Union City on fridays

 

In that case....I'll need my RX8 to arrive on time...
anyhow...I'm kinda a shy person....so don't expect me to show up at any meeting...
