Did you shut it down cold? Do you have the updated starter, plugs, battery, flash?

Yea ive got all the latest updates/plugs etc etc and for some reason it just happened. The car only has in the low 20k,s in mileage
I rode w/the towtruck to the mazda dealer/service dept and w/in 1 hour it was ready,,, i seen the guys working on it from a distance,, they never took it in to the gargae itself but just outside the garage where they loooked to have taken some type of can of spray and squirted it into some part of the engine and it started and they frikken revved it hard and i mean hard wide open to where the cut off was kicking in and held it there for quite some time and smoke poured out the exaust,, actually i was worried about them revving it so high and for so long, but i guess they know what they are doing>>?????? i hope so. but that was it and i s im back home w/it as it didnt take long.

And yes i tried all the flooded engine tricks but no go,, it would sometime act as if it was going to start but didnt,,,,, i wonder if they just sprayed starting fluid in the air intake?

Probably sprayed some starter fluid or engine cleaner. I hope they let your engine warm up before they started revved it that high and hard. Does anyone know if what they did is bad for our engine? Especially if the engine is not warmed up?

If it was cold, the ECU should have limited the revs to 7k(?) to protect the engine.

More likely some type of oil to allow the seals to function. The over load of gas prevents this sealing action and therefore prevents compression, result is no start. The oil allows the seal to function again and the high revving with lots of smoke would be them burning off the oil in your combustion chamber after it starts.

Of course I don't know this for a fact but it would seem to make sense.
