Does anyone have a weird smell from their rx8? my smell is similar to fireworks. is that normal?

LOL I always thought that the same. The exhaust really smells like fireworks when it's still cooold.

Make sure you don't have a plastic bag melted to your muffler or pipe. These cars are plastic bag magnets.

Nah it's normal if it's only when the car is cold. I have _exactly_ the same smell when I start up my car and it's gone after a few minutes. Though if someone feels this isn't normal, I would appreciate any feedback.

 

Mine does this off and on, and ive found plastic bags stuck and melted to it before so make sure you check that
