ok, so i'm looking over my 8 i recently purchased and noticed that the right quarter panel sits up a little higher than the hood and headlights than my left side does.

I'm freaking out thinking there was a collision before i bought it and noone reported it, so i start looking closer under the hood. sure enough the bolts on that side have scuffs on them. so upon further inspection i finder a rectangle 1/8 maybe less galvanized spacer washer between the front brace and the closest to front quarter panel bolt. I removed said washer and screwed everything back in tight.

i cant see any reason for this thing to have been there. Anyone have any clue what it's intended purpose could have been?
