For something as simple as a layer of pollen, take a California Duster to it. You'll be surprised how effective it is. You can buy one almost anywhere: Target, Wal-Mart, Autozone, and Pep Boys.

Oh and when my new wax jobs get messed up by weather, I just console myself because I know the paint is protected in the long run.

im not sure you guys have experience with the pollen here. Literally I washed my a few days ago at around 6:30pm. At 6:45am when I went to work the next day, there was a nice solid layer of pollin on the car. By the end of the day there is no way a duster would have made it look right again. Not to mentionI would be out there dusting it non stop, by the time I finished the back the front would be dirty again.

Dude that is a feature of owning a BB car. Unfortunately I have this same feature I love my car clean and get to enjoy for 1-2 days

I told myself I was going to wash my car eveyr couple weeks....so far, every weekend has been car wash time. I just love washing my car so much, until I look at it the next day, and see all the dirt and such all over it, I cry.

I agree.

Dust is my problem in the summer, we have so many d#@$ wheat fields that get harvested to make the crust on that blueberry pie.
