Exclamation Warranty Question

I'm planning in getting a body kit for my 8, now this might sound stupid or somewhat, but will it void my warranty in any way?...If I do any other mods to it, will it also void the warranty?...

kit no. mods possibly, depending on which mods or how your dealership handles modifed stuff.

don't the dealers have to prove that the mods caused the problem/issue/damage in order for them to void the warranty? i.e. if you're having idling problems and you have an intake system, then they can't cover that under warranty.

My dealer had a list of things that voided part or all of the warranty. I stupidly didn't have them copy it. Here is part of it that I found online though...

You want to read specifically what is under the Orange category. Basically anything that is orange voids everything how I read it. Someone have another POV?

hey you added me on myspace lol, if you drive to elmont you can check out my ride and other local 8's.

as far as the warranty is concerned. dont expect the dealer to fix your modified parts.

um no that is saying that if you use those Mazdaspeed Parts- which can only be had by proving you are using them for racing- then they are not warranted. That has nothing to do with your Factory warranty as it concerns aftermaket parts.

What I get from this thread is that Mazda's warranty wont cover after market or non oem parts?

Will using aforementioned parts void your warranty?
