i do not think is mad because he spent 3k. i think he was just being honest. those rims on the first link are ugly, no matter how much he pays for them. they dont even look like rims that should be on a 8. they look more for suv's (like sayno said) or some VIP car. if any he should get the a112 or the fusion ones. those rims look more of a 8 rim out of the bunch. but then again that is my opinion. Maybe i should get spinners for my 8 :) because chicks seem to like spinners.

Oh gosh, do I even have to start with you. If i dropped dime for my wheels, thats just me, why would I be pissed? Your the one whining about why I spent the flow for my rims. I couldn't be happier with my wheels. Most people wouldn't even consider dropping that much on wheels but thats just me. If you think "cheapy" rims like that look better than volks then good for you. Obviously my taste in cars is much different than yours. And as far as the "chick" comment goes, you must be pretty pathetic to think rims will get you laid. On my end, I don't need to use my car to get attention. :spank:

Why not keep the original rims and save 3000 by spray paining them the color of your choice, or by adding spokes using plexiglass.

No, I don't think it gets you laid but it has the same attention grabbing appeal. I don't care that you spent that much and that's your money and if that's what you're into then fine. But, for people that can't buy Volks and still want a good look this is for them and you don't have to burn people for that.

If you would have read my post (post # 16) I wasnt trying to come off like a dick and burn him, I was just telling him how I felt about the wheels. I also said that if he dropped another couple hundred bucks he could probably find some nice used wheels (axis enkei) or something along those lines.

yeah but we all gotta stop being so hard on every one's taste here.....lets take my car for instance, i love it and so do others....but some hate the hell out of it....i have taken creative criticism and made adjustments and i have also left some things just because i like them better...some people also have to be more creative with thier funds....i know i have had to be frugal on some things but i can get away with it because of my theme.....trust me if i had 3k+ i would have either lazi's type of advans or some veilside andrews wheels....but i had to settle for now and my rims look decent....
