I am the one who works at the rebuild factory for mazda, anyways our trainer had a nice little photo/article from a company magazine given to employees there of the most experienced rotor builder or as he calls the master. I also grabbed yoshii's camera and took a couple pics of the companies vinless rx8 that was in the shop today. Hope you guys/girls enjoy.

I like to do weird angle shots for my Z friends, unfortunately I didn't have my camera so quality is crappy here and I dont have the keys to the rx8 to move it where I choose, I was on my break when I took these for fun.
You'll notice we need to wax our floor, I was trying to go for a good reflection off the floor in this shot.

See no vin#, no big deal but kinda odd to see.

Always wondered why we didn't have those.

Now we're gonna have to change the stock clear side marker to orange just for the heck of it

 

I don't think the revised model has that big of a difference to make it a 2nd gen. It's more of a minor update (which it is). Like S4 and S5 FC's.

 

2nd gen would need to have a JM1FE change to I assume FF.

 

just noticed the front corner light has an orange reflector for this rx 8, probrably being for the usa market, where the jdm ones are clear.

Guess we get to change them orange ones to the clear ones afterall
