Oh my lord, pls help !!

My sales man said the car was deliver in May 04, I pick her up @ June 3.

You can't really tell.

I took my car in 3-4 months ago and the dealer put in the 'M' flash...even showed me the paperwork with all the codes on it.

Took my car in 3 weeks ago for an oil change and guess what? Yep, the service dude comes back out and says "...and we downloaded your PCM with the latest flash - M."

Argh!

Bottom line: You never know what is in your car unless you do it yourself I think.

this is how to check for m Flash....

put key in the ignition, turn it to the on position, but dont start. push the break 20 times under 8 seconds, when your oil gauge does a sweeping motion, that indicates the M Flash.

this was already post somewhere.... Do a Search!!!!!!!!!

Tell him it's the latest PCM Calibration - that is the technical term.

Uh, no.

That works on anything from "L" flash on.
I only have "L" - "M" wasn't yet available last time I had the patience for a dealer visit.
I'll probably get it done in a few weeks.

The "20 brake stomp test" works on "L".

if your car was produced in march or later you have the current pcm calibration. check the build date on your door. brake stomp test was added to the L flash. if it works you have L or later.

The brake pedal stomp also erases some other stuff in the memory also as I remember it. The 'how you like to drive' stuff? Whatever...
