Wouldn't do that to any vehicle, they are absolutely impractical.

There are a couple of kits for the FD I like. But I would never actually do that to a car. Now buying a factory car with gull wing doors or scissor doors, that is a different story, maybe one day I will be able to afford a Mercedes gull wing (can't remember the model number or year).

Those were from the 1950's.... and might cost you six to seven digits...

Yup - 2 went for like 600K (each that is) at Barrett Jackson this last year...

1955 Mercedes 300SL gullwings silver exterior red leather interior...good luck the few that have survived are held onto like glue by their owners.

I like the way the doors look when they are opened like that but don't know if I would do it to the 8 or not. Would have to see one first.

I know the Mercedes Gullwings are real expensive and probably will never be in my range, but I always figure I should aim high.
