Venting again, i'm getting sick of this.

**** always happens, i'm sure it's happeing to others as well. Today infront of my shop I found my car with syrup all over it. The worst part was I haven't wash my car for a while because of back pain, and it had dust all over it, so it was kinda hard to clean it off. So manny haters out there, so far someone took a knife to my car, kicked the door in at a gas station, and now this ****!!!

Sounds like a good idea. The 8 is just so much more fun to drive, sometimes I get itchy just thinking about takeing her out for a spin, so I think up of somereason to just go out. Even if it's just driveing her around the block, I just want to drive.

no joke bro...i've experienced nothing but problems on the same behalf as you...and i'm REALLY starting to get tired of it.

First i had to have a part of the door repainted because of defective paint, then i had to deal with the dealership for breaking my grille. I also had a little instance where someone threw sand in my car through the sunroof, and now JUST TODAY i discovered that someone had poured some white-syrup/egg like crap all over a part of my hood. Apparently it had been there for a few days and started to bake on there, because I tried to clean it off...and low and behold...it's ate through the clearcoat and has cracked some paint that now needs touched professionally. Even though I know some of that is on my shoulders for not cleanin it off sooner, it originally looked like it might be some bird crap...

I feel yur pain. Other people just....ugh.

Funny way of putting it, and it's hard to agree and disagree with you at the sametime haha but still if I ever find the people who did this, I want to key the person who keyed my car, kick the person who kicked my car, and poor some syrup all over that other guy. After doing all that I can say, thats how my baby felt.

Not wishing to inflame you at all, but do you think it might be about the yellow color? I mean, it does kinda scream "look at my car, its yellow!" Maybe with the recent release of F&F, a bunch of stupid-*** kids out there are either jealous, or a bunch of older drivers are PO'd at anything which even remotely looks like a street racing car.

Where do you park your car that these kinds of people are even around to do this? I think that has more to do with it than being yellow, just my opinion though.

It's because you live in cali. I wish I would live to see the day when that state falls into the ocean.

Someone egged my car last night.

But the 'tards were so stupid, they did it during a torrential downpour so it was incredibly simple to wipe off.

If I catch the little bastards that did it, I'd force-feed them raw eggs until they puked yolk.

Ironic you would say that considering your user title "hump de bump," from a Red Hot Chili Peppers song... who are natives of California, and sing about it a great deal. In fact, the first track of the album containing "Hump de Bump" is about California. Might want to think that statement through, hmm?

No earthquakes in Texas. Of course, it is a bit prone to flooding.

Bird crap is never allowed to remain on my baby Not any longer than it takes to get the QD and MF towel out of the trunk. Be very vigilant about stuff that degrades your clearcoat and paint. It's worth it in the long run.

lol people over exagerate the earthquake thing there was a big 1 back in 1988 that shook the san fran area since then there are minor 1's every so often in 4 years i think we have had 2 minor earthquakes. tornados and hurricanes now they happen often when i lived in NC for 4 years we had 2 major hurricanes and quite a few tornado warnings/watches. also texas gets really bad hail

Yup, State Farm bought three used cars back from me, plus a new roof and coat of paint for the house after 10 really bad minutes in San Angelo in 1995.

I've not seen a yellow RX before (in fact, I've had my silver one for 3 weeks now and have only seen one other Rx8 period) but your yellow RX looks awesome to me! I mean, the RX is pretty stunning in ANY color, and I've been surprised by the number of stares and compliments I've gotten. I don't think personally I'd want the added attention that the yellow would get (especially from the cops) but it IS an incredibly nice looking car you have!

I can relate. Memorial day, I was working until 10pm. I currently work at a mall. When I came outside, there were two empty cans of coke next to my car. The coke itself was sprayed all over my car. Some ******** shook up the cans and unleashed the fury on my poor 8. I was forced to find a 24 hour car wash at 11pm, and even ended up leaving my atm card in the machine because I was so pissed and wasnt paying attention. Damn hooligans caused more trouble than they know.
