Any of you running a concealed display? If so, where did you mount it?

I just did a 30 second scan in the 8 with the display and did not see a great spot.

Also, while I have your attention did you know they now have a Savvy plug that you can plug into your OBD port and not only powers your V1 but you can set a speed where the V1 is muted below a certain speed then full volume over it. So you can tool around town and not have to hear it wail.

Thanks for any input as to the location of the remote display.

shameless plug for one of my own threads

https://www.rx8club.com/interior-aud...nstall-202341/

agree, there's not a whole lot of options for where to put it. i saw someone stick it in the CD deck's blank spot.

interested about the obd port. the mirror i have does the same thing, but also alerts to red light cameras as well

I searched V1 and Valentine One and your thread did not come up. Should I bump your thread or ask here? How long did that take to do?

I don't use a concealed display, but after a lot of messing around I found the best spot for my scanguage (roughly the same dimensions, except twice as wide) to be is on top of the steering column, fastened with sticker-velcro.

not very... couple hours or so.

i dunno how useful this will be to you since that mirror of mine is reflective but transparent. pretty sure the stock mirror glass is opaque. just wanted to give you some ideas though. i have seen people etch their mirror glass to hold the display as well.
