Used RX-8: Proper Mileage?
Hey all. Just another quick question for you all...
When purchasing a *used* Mazda RX-8, what would be some good mileage to look for? I'm thinking any RX-8 for under, say, 16k.
I've found an 04 RX-8 Grand Touring (sold by dealer) for 13,988 with 65k miles, but I've also found an 04 RX-8 with 34k miles for 13, 495.
Basically what I'm asking is, what seems to be a good mileage for the price when purchasing a used RX-8?

it needs to be in warranty fo sure unless you want one for a project car, which you prob don't.

take into account also, rx8's depreciate very quik, so you can bargain with the dealer by $1-2k

Polish - I have an '08 anniversary eidition rx-8 with 4,500 miles on it. Full bumper to bumper warranty on it through 11-2011. I am probably going to sell it to a dealer in the next few weeks, but if you are interested in it let me know - I'd sell it for well below book, seeing as thats what i'll probably get from the dealer.....

To all who are offering sales: I really can't tell you yes yet because it all depends on what the insurance will cost me. I know it'll probably be a bit more for me (I mean come on, I'm a teenager who wants an RX-8 BUT is willing to maintain it for all you doubters ;] ). So, thanks for the offers, however, I wish you the best of luck on finding another buyer :D
Thanks for all the responses so far. What a wonderful community we got goin' on here, and we can't let it go to waste. We need to keep the RX-8s ALIVE.
Over the summer is when I'll finally be heading to dealerships and whatnot looking for a car with my parents, so...hopefully I'll find a good deal :D
